What a fabulous weekend of golf. Of course, Saturday’s groups had a much more difficult challenge, with winds in the 20-30km/hr range. Despite their certainty that Sunday’s teams would dominate the leaderboard, the Quan team finished in a respectable 3rd place, and also took a share of the SKINS pot with a lone birdie on hole #13. The consensus was that it was a fun event, with guys working together in an attempt to win vouchers, deuces, and skins. The team to beat this year appears to be the Ross/Gilbertson/Mallen/Guenette combo — who have won the first two team events of the year...will it be a sweep? Or, will another team come out of the shadows to take us down? Get your best team together for one of the final two 4-man team events and find out.

NOTE: The Molson Cup is another McCleery team event, comprising a 3-tournament series using 2-man teams - be sure to register for the first stage of the Molson Cup on May 11-12. Sign up as a team, or put your name in as a single. Every stage is an individual tournament on its own, with the aggregate scores of all 3 events (as long as you keep the same team together) leading to the awarding of the Molson Cup trophy. Sign up today for May 11 or May 12. If you’re signing up as a team, be sure to leave the name of your playing partner in the comments. Looking forward to having a full field for the event!
